Project Description

Kirby was appointed as the main contractor to complete the turnkey design and build from RIBA Stage 3 involving the CSA and MEP fit-out of an existing suite within a live data centre. The project involved the integration of services within a live facility, modifications to existing owner furnished equipment and the supply and installation of new equipment. Pre-fabrication of pipework and modularisation of the plant room ensured design optimisation, reliability and the efficient delivery of an agreed accelerated program.

Installed equipment and plant items included UPS, DB’s, Lighting, Pump Room, DX Splits and BMS Panels.
The total project meterage consisted of 2,200m of cable, 1,400m of containment, 500m of pipework and 80 no. of I/O points.
